STSM Networks and Visualisation of Science – Renaud Lambiotte @ eHumanities group
April 10, 2014 - April 19, 2014
Workplan of Renaud Lambiotte (Namur)
The main purpose of my STSM in Amterdam at the eHumanities group will be to interact with their researchers on novel ways to visualise science. It is only by combining insights from complexity theory and knowledge organization that we will improve our understanding of the collective, self-organized nature of human knowledge production. For this reason, this STSM provides us the opportunity to share knowledge and expertise between those disconnected fields of research. I currently have several projects that will gain from interactions with eHumanities: data visualisation of science in 3D, impact of scientific mobility on creativity, etc. Similarly, I will actively interact with their researchers in order to bring new ideas from network theory.
