Research on literature of user Studies in interaction and discovery of data from heterogeneous resources that are merged together (3 days).
Research on use cases of best practice Discovery Layers (proprietary, custom and Open Source Solutions) and those visualisation solutions (2 days).
Research of other use cases that deal with heterogenous and database visualisation (2 day).
Putting together the findings of previous steps and establishing recommendation for the optimal solution that can be implemented in real cases, such as the one in National Library Systems (3 days).
Professor Milena Dobreva from University of Malta, as an expert in User Studies regarding to Digital Libraries and metadata and other aspects of this complex field, can provide good supervision of all of the processes of this research.
