Peter Richmond visits Professor Solomon and colleagues of Hebrew University of Jerusalem to explore two specific topics that span complex networks and emergent phenomena. First, methods to study cheating in examinations especially those based on multiple-choice methods will be discussed. These are used in both the medical and amateur radio communities. Second, Peter will present his new publication ‘Econophysics and Physical economics’ (Richmond, Mimkes and Hutzler, Oxford University Press, 2013) to a wider audience. He will also participate at an international symposium ‘Emergence of collective properties in stochastic processes’ organized in honor of Sorin Solomon’s 60th birthday.
